Unlike other folding propellers, the Varifolds design incorporates all the features that an owner would expect in a fixed bladed propeller including proper helical pitch distribution that reduces towards the blade tip. The Varifolds design, therefore, provides excellent propulsion with very low levels of noise and vibration, and when sailing the propeller automatically folds to reduce propeller drag to an absolute minimum.

Our Varifold propeller is the folding propeller of choice for many leading yacht builders and designers and comes in two, three and four blade versions.  There is one which will be suitable for a cruiser racing or racing yacht with an engine from 10hp to 1000hp.
